Walking down a road
Aware of the world around me

Moving thru time
Feeling… the nothing there
Touching without using my hand.
Feeling the sun on my face
Sometimes…. Sometimes the rain
Moving along…. Content.
But not caring
Not caring for so long
I can’t remember.
Stumbling along gracefully
Blinders on because they work
Closing my eyes because I need to.

Feeling your aura.
Who are you?
Why are you here?
Is it because you know
How desperately I need you?
Looking side to side
All around me fuzzy
Like looking thru a morning fog.
But my eyes clear
The sun shines on you
Line an apparition in the distance.
I walk to the light
Your light
Smiling….
You extend your hand
Unimaginable strength
Wrapping around mine.
Holding me up
When I never knew
I was about to fall.
Smiling at me
When I didn’t realize
I wore a frown.
That was the day
